Depending on the current and desired state of the facade, there are different techniques for facade renovation. Each requires a different approach, depending on factors such as preparation, weather conditions, and drying times.

  • “Kaleien” is a combination of painting and applying lime plaster, serving as a first protective layer against energy loss and weather conditions.
  • “Spuitkurk” consists of cork granules mixed with paint, allowing it to be applied directly on various facades. This provides a durable and decorative finish.
  • A facade renovation is the ideal opportunity to improve your facade insulation. For this, we install insulation material on the exterior of your home. This way, no interior space is lost, the outside temperature stays out, and your interior is protected from noise and moisture.
  • Cleys specializes in applying different types of facade cladding. Give your home a fresh, new look with crepi (with or without insulation), spray cork (can be applied in three ways), or stone strips (the look of bricks without losing space).
  • Of course, your exterior shell is more than just walls. Cleys also assists with roofing work and the replacement of windows and doors. We always recommend the most advantageous insulation options for these elements as well.
Calculate the price of your facade renovation

The cost of a facade renovation is usually expressed per square meter. The price depends on many factors. Consider, for example, the current condition of your facade, whether a lift or scaffolding is needed for the work, accessibility, the total surface area of your facades, the materials and techniques you choose, and the location of your building.

To give you an idea of the cost of your facade renovation, we developed our facade calculator. It takes into account the correct VAT regime and energy premiums. Investing in a new facade does cost something, but fortunately the government (for now) provides some financial support. Of course, we are happy to provide much more information about all possible grants and loans.

Keep in mind that it only gives an estimate. A precise quote is only prepared after our on-site visit. But by answering a few questions, you can have an approximate idea of the total cost of your facade renovation within a few minutes. For this, we need the following information:

  • Do you choose a finish in spray cork, crepi, stone strips, or kaleien?
  • Do you also want facade insulation, and if so, what thickness?
  • What are the dimensions of the facade(s), including and excluding windows?
