The first step: listening to the customer
During an initial exploratory meeting, Bieke clearly outlined her wishes. Her façade looked somewhat outdated and there was clearly room for improvement in terms of insulation. She wanted not only an aesthetic upgrade, but above all a sustainable solution for the future.

Façade insulation as a smart investment
Bieke’s house was built with solid brick. As a result, a lot of heat was lost through the exterior walls. By choosing external wall insulation, this problem was tackled efficiently. The new insulation layer was placed directly against the façade and has since formed a thermal coat around the house.
This technique has many advantages:

- Lower energy bill
- Better score in the EPC inspection
- No loss of interior space
After the insulation works, the façade was immediately finished with an elegant render in a sleek white color.
Finish in render and plinth in granulate
Bieke chose a timeless render finish with a light texture. This gives her home a modern, fresh appearance and is at the same time low-maintenance. A plinth in granulate was applied under the façade: it is not only beautiful, but also provides extra protection against splashing dirt and moisture.
The combination of materials creates a sleek yet warm look that fits the house perfectly!

Throughout the entire process, Bieke was kept informed. From the start-up, planning to the final finishing details, there was one fixed contact person who followed everything up. No hassle with different contractors. Just a clear approach and craftsmen who do their work with care.
