The challenge
In Belsele, this commercial building - a local chip shop - underwent a complete facade renovation. The existing facades were first completely stripped, after which the side wall, the area around the entrance, and the rear facade were fitted with 10 cm of EPS insulation. Both the chip shop and the side facade were then plastered and finished with crepi, resulting in a neat and uniform appearance. A plinth in granulate grain provides a strong, low-maintenance base. Finally, the new rainwater drainage and aluminium roof edge ensure a clean, detailed finish. A sustainable renovation that makes the building shine again.
